A small museum next to Central Park, but it is a museum with a long history. It was founded in 1932. The Museum of Historical Arts has a very interesting history. The historian Henry Collins Brown rented the art building on 57th Street and held Old New York. The exhibition was successfully held. The New York City government provided the site where the museum is now, and thus contributed to the current New York City Museum. The museum's architecture is also unique, the Georgian architectural style of red brick marble building, the first time I came to Central Park, I was attracted by this building, and I found that it was a museum, and I had a museum trip.
The New York City Museum is here in Central Park. Although there are many people who come to Central Park to play, a city museum is far less than several other museums in New York, but the museum is also very rich in exhibits.
We loved so much the mini stall outside the museum itself. Remind me all way from hometown. If you love hotdog then its a must try. Only $4 dolar for regular size.
I was surprised that no other museum was advertised. We visited this museum after a 9-day trip and had already visited the Guggenheim that day. So it’s fair to say we were a little tired when we came to play. But if I come back to New York, I swear I will revisit it. It shows an incredible history in time series and in combination with some meaningful short films. Unfortunately, we were so exhausted that we couldn't appreciate it all. Also, step on the display items, which are described on their labels as somewhat lacking in respect. This will be interesting but slightly shameful. Tip: If you have a 48-hour car package, you can visit the museum for free.
There are too many good museums in New York. So that the city museum on the edge of Central Park has been so neglected. This is a very beautiful and small museum, and the exhibits are also very rich. Don't miss it when you come to Central Park.
