NYC is best seen by foot. A simple walk around one of New York City’s neighborhoods is often the best way to experience its spirit. Here are my favorite places to take a walk in New York City. ▪️ The Brooklyn Bridge The view from the Brooklyn Bridge is almost as iconic as the view of the bridge itself. First opened in 1883, it’s a National Historic Landmark and a New York City Landmark, and at more than a mile long, it offers unobstructed views of the downtown skyline. ▪️ Walk from lower Manhattan and over to DUMBO before tucking into a pizza at Juliana’s ▪️ Central Park South You could easily get lost in this 843-acre park that stretches across Manhattan; its sprawling lawns and hilly paths weave a labyrinth of greenery in the middle of the concrete jungle. ▪️ SoHo Side Streets Soho is full of quaint, narrow cobblestone streets paired an industrial edge that makes it one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the city. ▪️ Greenwich Village Greenwich Village conjures up images of counterculture in the 1960s, and today, it’s one of the most exciting and yet peaceful spots in the city, with no shortage of beautiful homes and amazing restaurants to keep you on your toes. ▪️ Brooklyn Bridge Park Walk 1.3 miles through this waterfront park to take in unmatched views of the city and the East River. The 85-acre park was once an industrial set of piers that were turned into a public space complete with a sand beach and waterfront reading area. ▪️ Fort Washington Park If you walk about a half-mile into Fort Washington Park, you’ll find the Little Red Lighthouse, a quaint reminder of the city’s past before high-rise buildings took over. ▪️ Coney Island Boardwalk A stroll along the boardwalk on Coney Island is like stepping back in time: the waves of the ocean crashing at one end and the thrills of amusement rides on the other. ▪️ Madison Avenue Nothing says luxury quite like Madison Avenue. New York City one of my favorite cities. I had the pleasure of showing my family around the city and and share with them my love of the city. We went to herald square to do some shopping and went down by the Hudson River to watch the sunset. Right around that area is the Vessel and a mall which we ended catching the city light. The most eye-catching building is The Vessel. !? 200 million knives built a honeycomb staircase, pure sightseeing, there is no business (screaming, good money), from the British ghost architect Thomas Heatherwick, he admitted that this is not Business, this is art, you can use it as a "furniture" of the city, wow~ expensive furniture, hahaha. Inspired by the honeycomb, it consists of 8 layers of steel-studded stairs and platforms that are interlaced and interconnected. The top span spans 46 meters. This building so beautiful it’s such a great place to visit when you’re in New York

My friend from New York recommended that we visit the Vessel, and I must say, it's truly impressive. The Vessel is a massive work of art, but unfortunately, it's currently closed for temporary reasons. Nonetheless, we were able to appreciate its brilliance just by observing it from a distance. #travel

I went to the Vessel first, depending on which train you take you walk through Times Square to get here. I got here at about 9am when it wasn’t crowded at all but the higher levels were still closed. I walked around then in it then left for the high line. They are so close they could count as one. If you start here you can walk the whole thing. Truthfully the high line is a beautiful walk but you don’t get any spectacular views. The street views are cool though. It’s not a long walk at that time, it could be longer if you stop for more photos. By the time you are done it’s a great time for brunch and the end seems to be in the perfect spot for that!

Throwback to the year of 2019 before the pandemic. It was very cool building and definitely worth the visit but sadly it has been closed for now and only can see it from outside. Not too far away from Wall Street and just next to a shopping mall. If you prefer a stunning view with the sunset, could go 30 hours before sunset and capture the best photos of the day. NYC definitely worth a second visit. #newyork
