Villefranche-sur-Mer is located on the Cote d'Azur region east of Nice, one of the most beautiful towns in the south of France, embracing the mysterious Mediterranean Sea and one of the larger natural deep-water ports of the Mediterranean. The town has a 16th-century castle that preserves many colourful relics and is a city of painters and artists. Walking along the town's slate streets, you can see a small market selling local handicrafts and hawkers selling vegetables and fruits. Walking into the town, you can see quiet houses. There are all kinds of flowers in front of the house. The whole town is like a garden.
