Ruiguyi Pagoda Temple is a Buddhism building in the middle of Bagan. It was built during the reign of King Alon Siddu in 1140. Ruiguyi means "golden cave". Because it is close to the ancient palace, it is called the palace stupa. The tower is built on a 3.6-meter-high brick foundation. Legend has it that this is the king’s good fortune that caused a huge brick to emerge from the ground. According to historical records, the king was driven out of the palace by his son when he was old and moved to the pagoda monastery, and was later killed. There are still four Buddha statues and two inscriptions in the temple. Climb to the viewing platform of the Pagoda Temple to see the nearby Pagoda Temples.
The whole of the temple is a journey of exploration, the whole of the temple is full of pagodas and temples, are ruined ruins, some restoration is OK, but also guarantee the role of the temple. Visiting the entire major temples and pagodas, it will take almost two or three days. It's not easy to find the tower according to the map. It's easier to find the shape. There's not much relief.
The hotel reception told that it was the only Buddhist tower that can be climbed by Qigan. It was riding an electric car before dawn. It was found by mobile phone navigation. There were many people waiting to watch the sunrise. As the sun rises, you can see countless towers in the distance shrouded in a mist, and balloons floating in the air, beautiful.
The Riguyi Tower accidentally encountered on the way to the Ruishandu Tower. In the existing tower of Gangan, Riguyi is not particularly famous, but elegant, memorable. It and his Binyu Tower behind each other, cross-reference. Especially it has a second-tier platform to go up, which is a gem in the current Gangan. If you can't find a proper tower to watch the sunrise and sunset, this is a good choice.
The Ruiguyi Pagoda is near the Bagan Palace ruins. It is a stupa with a very distinctive appearance. It has a very beautiful shape and complicated lines, which makes it easy to remember. If you have time, you can come and have a look
Shwegu Gyi Phaya — Built in 1311, the temple itself is not very interesting, but the second-floor platform overlooks the panoramic view of Bagan, which is worth a climb and a glimpse of the whole picture
We came from Niangwu direction, after visiting the old Ganfo tower, found on the map missing Rui Guyi, and then back to find. The earthquake has a lot of falling stone, because the platform is high enough. It is also a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
