Old ruins.
This place is down near the harbor. There are some parts of old buildings that was once a castle but not a ton to see. I wouldn’t go out of my way for this one.
Severely lacking information. Interpretive sign completely gone. Palermo should be ashamed for allowing ruins to fall into such disrepair at their main port.
Born as a bastion during the Arab occupation, it was then enhanced by the Normans but became a real castle only with the transformations and enlargements carried out between the end of the '400 and the ...
