This squat bridge was built in 1556 and is over a canal that flow Lago di Garda water into the river Mincio. The arches are small because over them there’s a garden

Nice town

Nice spot on the water, historic streets with plenty of places to eat and sleep. Stayed at an AirBnB on Via Rocca. Perfect.

Ancient bridge

This bridge is best seen from a boat trip and for 8€ you can take a thirty minute cruise around the fort and sail under the central arch. It’s an astounding engineering feat half a millennium old.
