Phuket is famous for its beaches, and Kata Beach is a beautiful one to visit. Restaurants can be found along the beach as well as shops renting surfboards, chairs, and other items for beach-goers. We found transportation around Phuket to be somewhat difficult because the most convenient option are taxis, which are quiet expensive, but we were lucky to find a bus from Old Phuket that goes to Karon and Kata beach for only 40baht per person.
Kata Beach is a beach in Phuket, Thailand, smaller than Patong, but it has 2 beautiful bays, W-shaped in shape, one of Phuket's three major beaches. Kata Beach gives a more gentle feeling. There are winding coastlines, soft beaches, waves gently lapping, and sea breezes sending a pleasant burst.
The beach can be visited using Songthaew for just 40 bath from phuket old town.. There is also food stall all along the beach
Kata Beach Karon Beach is more private, suitable for family friends couples travel, Phuket is very cost-effective!
Hat Kata is a beach which extends 1.5 kilometers on the west coast of the island of Phuket in Thailand
