Sanping Temple is located in Pinghe County, Zhangzhou City. It was built in 866 during the Tang Dynasty. High Priest Yang Yizhong was the ancestor of the temple and also known as "Sanpin Zushi“. He was later granted the title ”Master Guangji" by Emperor Tang Xuanzong. The current temple was reconstructed at the end of the Qing Dynasty. The entire temple was built along the mountain. There is a mountain gate, a tower, a clock, two-floor drum building, and others. It has a tight infrastructure. In recent years, a suite of additional facilities are built, such as Guangji Garden, Hundred Fruit Garden, Reception Garden, and Yangsheng Villa.
