    Basilica visit

    There are not many specials things there. But with a free entry, you can visit the inside also. I've shared a car with friends, otherwise hard to reach.

    Beautiful Roman basilica outside of Pisa

    You will really need a car to get there. I think there are city buses going to San Piero a Grado, Well worth the excursion.

    Very nice Basilica

    The Basilica is worth the visit. It is located in San Piero a Grado, about 4.3 miles (7 km) west to the center of Pisa. There are also a few small restaurants located in the area.

    in the shadow of the tower

    This is okay as churches go. Set in the shadow of the tower it is difficult for this to be anything but a sideshow.
