Great views
Not too stiff a walk and great views. Not much to see other than the view and the outside of the lighthouse. There are private houses within the fort, an amazing place to live.
Built in 1548
On the island of Elba is Forte Stella built in 1548 by Medici. At the north east summit is the historic lighthouse of Portoferraio. Beautiful views and our last stop on our tour.
