Located at the eastern foot of the eastern mountain of Mashan Mountain in the west of Puning Chiwei, it was founded during the Tang Dali period, more than a thousand years ago, and is the oldest existing rock temple in Puning.      According to legend, this temple was the founding dojo of the Tang monk Dadian, and it has been up and down several times. The present temple is a composite building built in the dynasties after Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. It consists of a main hall and two side rooms. Masiyan Temple is located in the east foot of Mashan Mountain, west side of Chiwei Street, Puning City, Jieyang. It is relatively ancient currently reserved in Puning, which was founded in the Tang Dynasty. This temple was said to be the dojo originally built by Da Dian, an eminent monk during the Tang Dynasty, and then went through several destructions and restorations. The current temple is a composite building re-built and maintained successively in dynasties after the Qing Emperor Qianlong, consisting of the main hall and two sided wings.
