This fully open park has a children's play area, a plastic running track, football, basketball and volleyball courts, tennis courts, roller skating areas, bicycle paths, artificial lakes, etc. The Quito Botanical Garden (Jardín Botínico) and the Reptile House (Vivarium) are also located here, showcasing the unique flora and fauna of the Andes region.
