Island of the Sun
#freehotelstay
The Greek Island of Rhodes is full of fascinating history. It is sometimes called “Island of the Sun” because its patron god was Helios, Greek god of the sun. Rhodes is the ninth largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and boasts one of the most well preserved medieval towns in Europe. The island has been conquered and occupied by many political groups throughout history - the Greeks, the Romans, the Byzantine Empire, the Ottoman Empire, Italians, Germans, and probably more. There is a mix of cultures, history, and architecture throughout the old town. But perhaps one of the most interesting things about Rhodes is that it once boasted one of the seven great wonders of the ancient world - the Colossus of Rhodes statue. Unfortunately, the statue was destroyed a long time ago, but the site of where the Colossus once stood is marked by deer statues. Aside from history, we also found charming cafes and restaurants in old town serving delicious Mediterranean food, so this town can be enjoyed by history buffs and others who just want to enjoy food and shopping 😊. It’s no wonder Rhodes is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most visited destinations in Europe.

Rhode Island is about an hour's voyage from Athens. The whole feeling of Rhode Island is a bit less Greek. Maybe this is a military place, and the long-standing presence of the Ottoman army has changed the traditional Byzantine style here.

Visit Rhode Island, the smallest state in the United States. It is a beautiful and pleasant island near the Atlantic Ocean. It is a holiday and leisure place for the wealthy in the eastern United States. The Breakers, a mansion of the Vanderbilt family, the third richest man in American history, was a strangely named The Breakers mansion, which was set on the corner of the Atlantic and meant to break the Atlantic waves. The interior and architecture of the mansion are stunningly luxurious. European Renaissance style. The gilded platinum-ceiling walls are decorated with marble carvings and oak inlaid. The terrace below the mansion and the large lawn face the Atlantic Ocean. Fully reflected the gilded era of wealth creation and wealth splurge by the owner of the mansion, and later family members sold the mansion to the government for a dollar.
We had the opportunity to get to know many technological inventions of ancient Greece. Totally worth a visit. The girls who showed us around were very polite!
Rhode Island is the best girl to pick up a bunch of girls, there are amie donkeys, angels, Texas, and dragons. It’s not bad. You can go shopping when you have time. It’s a bit dangerous. Don’t talk about integration. The movement is coming again.
