[View] Excellent museum in the city center
[Fun] An excellent museum in Grenoble, a paradise in the city center. I like to hang out on Sundays and marvel at the wonderful paintings here. There are great exhibits throughout the year, and the first Sunday of each month is free. Be sure to become a friend of this museum to support artistic creation.
The free museum is good except that it is located on the mountain and has to be climbed.
The Dophine Museum is located at the foot of the Bastille Fortress. The original site is a quaint seventeenth-century convent. The exhibits are full of cultural characteristics of the Alps, introducing local art and industrial history, skiing and other traditional customs. Open from June to September from Wednesday to Monday from 10:00 to 19:00, and from October to May of the following year from Wednesday to Monday from 10:00 to 18:00. Free to visit. Take the tram line B and get off at the Notre-Dame Musée station to get to the neighborhood. After that, you have to cross the river and climb the mountain on foot.
The feel of the museum is quite civilian.
Take a look at the outside, if it weren't for tourists who said it was a museum, we would have thought it was an ordinary residential bungalow.
