Praça bonita, cujo nome informal se refere à quantidade de cinemas que lá existiram (resta apenas o Cine Odion da década de 20), com importância histórica por ter sido local de inúmeros protestos e com construções de beleza e importância como o Teatro Municipal, Museu Nacional de Belas Artes, Biblioteca Nacional e Câmara Municipal que merecem uma visita.
