Rio de Janeiro has plenty to offer its visitors. From the culture, the people and the events such as the 2016 Summer Olympics, Rio also has plenty of natural draws to entertain and inspire guests. The Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas has many features that might call to locals and tourists alike who want to explore nature. While it does suffer from a pollution issue and needs to be cleaned, the Lagoa offers lakeside trails for walking and biking letting everyone enjoy the view of the water. A canal, which travels through a nearby park, also connects the lagoon with the Atlantic Ocean.
