The Doujiao Mountain Scenic Area (Qingshou Cliff) is an important part of Doujiao Mountain. Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism have all left many historical sites here. In traditional Taoism's "Thirty-Six Grotto Heavens,” this is the twenty-first grotto heaven. At the foot of the mountain, visitors can see the giant golden Chinese character "佛" meaning "Buddha” inscribed into the mountain's living rock. It has become one of the site's most unique landscapes. When hiking along the many trails, the magnificent Hall of the Five Hundred Lohan, as well as many other religious sites, make this one of the best places in Rong County both for sightseeing and religious pilgrimage.
