Nice wide sandy beach
We just visited for the day off a cruise ship slightly out of season but it was a lovely wide sandy stretch of beach with so, so many beds! The beach is also just a 10 mins walk from Alter Strom.
Interesting beach...
I mean I can't complain that much about this beach however if you've vacationed before in the south of europe. Then it's a little bit of a let down.

Blackpool without the attractions
Seriously underwhelming. Long beach "littered" by beach baskets at 1m intervals. There are also rubbish bins and toilets at measured distances along the beach. Add a couple of high raise hotels ......
