A very interesting slice of history
The abbey, which is beautifully maintained (although the older half of it currently under wraps, as of the date of this review) is an impressive piece of architecture and worth a visit.
after several weeks stay in Paris it was a wonderful contrast to take some time out to spend a few days at the beautiful Abbaye de Saint-Germer-De-Fly. A place for cyclists 'en route' across the coun...
Visit from 30/10/23, The site is a little isolated, not particularly well arrowed and yet ... All from a distance you can see the big clocks that point its nose.
If you pass through Saint Germer de Fly, I invite you to discover this beautiful abbaye! free entrance, visit family or enter, but c'is a chef of a work of architecture on several periods...

Worth a detour.
Intriguing building in a complex in a small friendly village. Definitely worth the detour. The surrounding countryside is lovely too.
