On the west coast of the Pacific Ocean, the beautiful port of San Diego, the water and sky are one color, and the scenery is picturesque. The most eye-catching landscape is the "Kiss of Victory" sculpture on the seashore. At noon on August 15, 1945 (August 14, local time in the United States), Emperor Hirohito of Japan broadcast to all of Japan, announcing his acceptance of the Potsdam Declaration and unconditional surrender to the Allies. The news soon spread to the United States, and New Yorkers took to the streets. Times Square was crowded with people celebrating the victory of the war and the advent of peace. A sailor couldn't help hugging a female nurse who he had never met and kissed her to express his inner joy. Alfred Eisenstaedt, a photographer for the American Life magazine, seized the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and took a picture of the exciting kiss. This photo of a sailor and a female nurse kissing, named "Kiss of Victory", has become a classic handed down from generation to generation. The "Kiss of Victory" statue, which was made based on a photo, was installed in Tuna Harbor Park in San Diego Harbor in February 2007, and is located next to the USS Midway aircraft carrier across the water. Beside the azure sea and the green trees, the 7.62-meter (25-foot) tall statue is elegant and lifelike. An endless stream of tourists pose and take photos, sharing the joy of victory...

[Scenery] On the green lawn of the San Diego Naval Base in the United States stands a huge sculpture "Kiss of the Century". It is a handsome sailor kissing a young nurse passionately, interpreting the ecstasy of the American people after the war. [Fun] This sculpture is touching. Such a romantic and passionate sculpture will make people, young and old, stop and look up and take photos with it. From the sculpture itself, there is nothing special, and the artistic conception is not unique, but from the effect of the sculpture creation, "Kiss of the Century" is admired by the world. It condenses history in the freeze frame, highlights the era in romance, and recalls the past in taste. [Cost-effectiveness] Such sculptures are rare and can be called classics.

The unique historical origin has created a unique local customs. When visiting Santiago, the Old Town Historical Park is worth a visit. Walking in the park, in the old streets and alleys with a strong ancient charm, the deepest FIESTA DE REYES is the most popular. Fiesta de Reyes is a group of Mexican-style courtyards that integrates catering, shops, leisure and entertainment. Environment-"Coco" This "record" has a cool atmosphere that is natural, the stage-young and old dancers are full of fun, and the surroundings-tourists from all over the world are eating and enjoying themselves...Experiencing the colorful exotic customs feels really good.

San Diego-Coronado Bridge The San Diego-Coronado Bridge is a cross-sea bridge in the United States. The bridge is located in San Diego, California, on the west coast of the United States, near the Mexican border. The bridge spans the San Diego Bay, connecting San Diego and Coronado Island, and is 2.12 miles long. Highway 75 passes through the bridge and intersects with Interstate 5 in San Diego. The 200-foot clearance in the middle of the bridge is enough for the tallest ships to pass. The bridge cost $50 million and was started in February 1967. It was completed and opened to traffic on August 3, 1969, and quickly became a local landmark. Due to its unique bridge towers and graceful curves, the bridge won the Excellence Award from the American Institute of Steel Construction in 1970.

I come every year because the San Diego International Anime Show is held here. My only complaint about this place is that the food and drinks are overpriced and the hotel is really making the most of the audience that cannot leave the building is making money.

Cabrillo National Monument In 1542, the Portuguese navigator Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo landed on the west coast of North America here, and this national monument got its name from this. The park is located on the Point Loma Peninsula in San Diego, California, and is managed by the National Park Service. The terrain here is relatively high, and you can overlook the entire San Diego and the US Navy and Air Force bases on Coronado Island. In addition to the Cabrillo monument, there is also the Old Point Loma Highthouse, which is more than 100 years old, and the remains of the US coastal artillery positions during World War II. It is also a field site for observing marine life and coastal plants. In September, you can also watch gray whales migrating through this channel. Tel: (1-619)557-5450 Transportation: Take bus No. 84 to Cabrillo National Monument Station and get off Tickets: No tickets are required

San Diego Japan Friendship Park (Japanese Friendship Garden San Diego). There are Japanese parks in many cities in the United States. These Japanese parks are a bit similar and are also messengers to spread Japanese culture, increase Americans' understanding of Japan, and enhance the friendship between the two countries. Japanese parks are not big, but they have distinctive Japanese characteristics and are very delicate. San Diego Japan Friendly Park is in Balboa park in San Diego. San Diego and Yokohama are sister cities, so the park has become a symbol of friendship between the two cities. It is a bit different from Seattle, which has the oldest Japanese park in the United States. (The Japanese garden in Seattle was built with active fundraising from local Japanese people.) In 1999, the famous Japanese architect Takeo Uesugi completed the design of the Friendship Park, but it was not until 2015 that all his architectural ideas were implemented. Uesugi's design concept is fully guided by the principle of returning to the truth: Quqiao flowing water, stone lanterns, Japanese maples, pine trees, rhododendrons, teahouses, etc. Entering the park, immediately lamenting the Japanese ingenuity and love for nature.
