Had a blast! Taking a tour to see the animals was so much fun! It is a lot of walking, and if you go during the spring or summer, bring a hat. All that said, it's still a good time, and the memories alone are worth it! Highly recommend you go.
You will get an amazing experience at San Diego Zoo and safari. The free 40-minute safari area tour featuring giraffes and hippos from afar is enjoyable for the Panda. The area is very vast and huge, be prepared to walk but it is well maintain, with a great variety of flora, it is better to download the map before visiting there,
There are as many as 2,600 species of animals here. I found many animals I had never seen before in the zoo. Most of the animals can be seen by walking. If you don’t want to walk, you can rent an electric car at the door, which can save a lot of trouble. Here you can see birds from Asia and Africa up close, as well as various mammals. Giraffes are so cute. You can feed them and they are very cooperative. Come and experience this beauty with those who like it on weekends.
As an animal lover, my son and I had been to the San Diego Zoo and Sea World; I wasn't sure if the Safari Park would hold his attention. I couldn't be more wrong! It was amazing! Better than the zoo in some ways; obviously they don't have as many animals so the animals have more habitat. In some ways I liked it better because it was simpler and although it wasn't as big it was more manageable with the kids! Remember to take the free tram ride in the middle of the enclosure, it only takes 25 minutes to see all the big animals!
This park was built using San Diego's climate and geographical environment to imitate a pure wildlife park in Africa. Most of its different species of herbivores are mixed and free-range, and although they are fenced, they can have close contact with tourists; however, herbivores such as rhinos, elephants, and hippos are harmful to tourists.
This zoo is very African in style and has retained African characteristics to the greatest extent. In the park, you can take a tram to see the free-range wild animals, but the carnivorous and herbivorous animals are separated. There are various kinds of wild animals in almost every place you go. However, the weather is really hot~~ and the children are all listless.
There are two zoos in San Diego, one is in the city, and the other is the San Diego Zoo Safari Park that we visited. San Diego, California, USA, adjacent to the Mexican border, is a city full of natural charm, with mountains, sea and deserts.
