OutstandingOverall, this place is pretty good. But compared to Hang Lung, it might be a little different. Thanksgiving San Diego Travel JournalDay Bay Area—＞Los Angeles Stayed in Monterey Park, a Chinese neighborhood where several new hotels have opened, offering good value and convenient Chinese dining. Dinner was at Jin Cheng Li, not too spicy, still high quality, and much cheaper than similar Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area. Day Los Angeles—＞SeaWorld San Diego, left early and drove less than two hours. The holiday season SeaWorld is open until 8 PM, giving plenty of time to enjoy the whole park. Four of us bought four half-price all day dining passes, $30 each, allowing a meal every 90 minutes. There was quite a wait to get food, so if you want to save time, send one person to pick up the meals. Some portions were quite large; actually, three passes for four people would have been enough. Day Safari Park, opens at 9 AM on Monday, we arrived at 9:20 and got a good parking spot. Walked straight to the African Tram to take the train, waited for half a round before boarding. When we got off, the line was even longer. It was a bit of a pity that the cheetah race was not scheduled that day. After the African Loop, we saw elephants and tigers, then quickly toured the rest because the kids were not feeling well. Day San Diego—＞Bay Area, before leaving, we stopped by USS Midway Park to check out the battleship, which felt great for kids, especially boys. Had a meal in LA on the way. Seaworld - San DiegoSeaworld, San Diego is highly recommended for families and for those who love sea animals! It is best for a full day visit so highly recommended to get there early as there are so many attractions and shows you can watch! Thankfully there wasn’t a lot of people on a Friday so I only waited less than 10mins for the rides. The 360-degree roller-coasters, “Electric Eel” and “Emperor” is for thrill-seeking lovers! It comes to a drop of 90 degrees and it’s so fun! Best to plan out or watch the shows first as the feeding times or the shows may only have 2 time-slots per day. I purchased the All Day Dining Deal too so I got to eat FREE every 90mins! You get to select an entree + sides + drinks for an additional $50 (purchased on TRIP.COM). A full meal costs between 20-30USD at the park so the all day dining deal is very worth it! Overall, I highly recommend visiting this place if you are in San Diego.CharleneTHM1

My little grandchildren and I had such a wonderful and educational time. We went on a Wednesday morning and there were no lines for the rides or any of the shows - awesome!! The dolphin and orca shows were both amazing!!
The sea lion show with the Asians was good. The killer whale and dolphin shows were overrated and the shows were quite poor and boring. You're better off just going to your local aquarium to see them. We traveled from Missouri to San Diego to visit Sea World
