It’s a very casual wharf. There are not as many people as Fisherman’s Wharf and it’s not so commercial. It’s a very pleasant feeling to see many people walking here, doing sports, walking dogs, etc.
It’s very close from the Embarcadero to the San Francisco Pier. This is the main boarding point. You can take different boats to go to other islands and visit the San Francisco Bay Area. The scenery is pretty good.
The Embarcadero is much less crowded than Fisherman’s Wharf and San Francisco Wharf, making it a more relaxing place. It is much quieter than the other two piers, and tourists are also comfortable in twos and threes
The pier is very lively, and you can also see the beautiful scenery of the Bay Area, great 👍
The bustling inland river terminal can vaguely see the bustling scene of the past.
