Salzburg Museum

The Salzburg Museum in Austria was founded in 1834 and is now a local museum. The museum moved into the new palace in the center of Salzburg in 2005 and was built in the late 16th century for the then richest Archbishop of Salzburg, Wolf Dietrich.

Visitors with Salzburg cards can visit for free. On the north side of the museum is Mozart Square, so this is the center of the entire Old Salzburg city, a world cultural heritage treasure.

The Salzburg Museum is located on the side of Mozart Square in the center of Salzburg, on the east side of the Salzburg Bell Tower. The museum is modern in appearance and contrasts with Salzburg's long history. Free admission with a Salzburg card.

The museum is included in the Salzburg pass, which is very easy to find in the old city. I was impressed by some 19th century paintings. When people went to the place where the painter painted, they took pictures and put them aside for comparison. It can be seen that over a hundred years ago, the valley on the painting had no change in the natural scenery except for the addition of a number of houses. If it had been the heavens, it would have been impossible to find the place where the painter painted.

The Salzburg Museum is a good place to learn about local culture. It can be found by following the bell tower in the square. There are often some special thematic exhibitions.
