Playa Mermejita

No mermaids here only dead logs washed ashore.

This beach is covered with dead wood. Not sure if there was a storm that brought in all the wood and destroyed the area but the road in is washed out badly for non 4X4 a disappointing day plan.

Mermejitas is great for a walk and to see the black sand. However it is not for spending the day at the beach. there isn't any shade. Unless you walk all the way to the end and use some rock formation...

Great waves

There are few people at this beach. It is fairly long with large waves and a strong tow so it good for swimming . There are no shade trees but it is a beautiful spot.
