Located opposite the Latin Bridge, the museum shows the history of the city from the Austro-Hungarian rule in 1878 to the end of World War I (1878-1918). In 1914, on the north side of the Latin Bridge, the Grand Duke and his wife were assassinated, which became the fuse of the First World War. The location of the assassination was at the corner of this museum, and a stone tablet embedded in the wall recorded the incident.
There are many attractions in Sarajevo’s old town. First, go to the Latin Bridge to see where the assassination that triggered the First World War took place. There is a detailed introduction to the entire process of the assassination. Walking into the city is all kinds of old buildings. There are also the remains of the old market, there are famous churches, mosques, city halls, synagogues, and bazaars. It is worth mentioning that the film Walter defended Sarajevo where the film was shot here. I went to the watchmaker’s shop and walked through a small alley with a width of one person. I finally saw a very short street door. It seemed that you had to bow your waist to enter and exit, and you could enter with your head down. The green door panel was closed tightly, recalling the movie. The Chinese watchmaker gave the key to the young apprentice to do his own unfinished business. He walked firmly to the bell tower of the mosque, connected with the spies and eliminated the enemy, and at the same time gave his life for the liberation of his motherland. I searched for the place where the old man died, in the courtyard of the Great Mosque. Recalling the martyrs who defeated the invaders to defend the motherland. On the south side of Lhasa, there is a hill, following people up the mountain, gathering hundreds of people, overlooking the city of Sarajevo, you can also see the beautiful scenery of the sun setting. I remembered, it was the Muslim month of Ramadan, waiting for the sun to set and the moon to rise. There are many places of interest in the city, and there are also guide cards, which is very convenient.
Since it was dark, I arrived near the clock tower of the movie "Walter Defends Sarajevo", and found the courtyard gate of the clock tower until it was dark. If it was this clock tower, I finally understood the reason why Walter didn't ambush: First, as I started, the courtyard door was not found in two laps. Second, the gate of the clock tower is too small to go up to the clock tower.
The bridge is so beautiful and it is quite high to stand on the bridge and see other tourist attractions
