Absolutely no complaints except for the morning frost, which was out of the control of Heritage. If only we'd booked for the previous week.....Boat (Astbury) was excellent. Only 3 of us, so had a double bed each and the table remained up/in place for eating etc. Plenty of room at the back and front for sitting out, watching the world go by.Although weve done a bit of boating before, the hand-over was useful and efficient. Lovely canal, albeit a little bit narrow and in some places the water was low ! We chose to head towards Bollington, as once upon a time, I lived in Macclesfield. Did the Bosley Locks in just over two hours on the way up and under 90 mins on the way down, thanks to a couple of friends who turned up to set the next lock, so we drove straight in. Starting at 07.00 ensured no one was coming up.Would definitely use Heritage again, but this time for longer and possibly head south through THE tunnel....Many thanks....

Narrowboat is narrow and long, a bit like a train, with all the internal organs, living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, is a unique ship in the UK, born in the Industrial Revolution, originally an important means of transporting raw materials for the rise of the British industrial town on the canal. The mid-20th century began to evolve into a life style sought after by the British middle class
