Big Qing Building

The Daqinglou is a legend of the young marshal's military and literary talents. The building itself is a witness to the acceptance of Western ideas in that era. Outside the door of the building, one can see the rockery and small villa, and the Chinese culture is lingering. The inconspicuous rotten iron cabinet is the only authentic historical relic that has not changed. The "safe" is solid and thick. It was really difficult to steal documents in that era.

It is recommended to go early. The tour groups will start queuing up in cars at around 8 o'clock. The corridors and each room will be crowded. After 10 o'clock, you will have to queue up to enter the building. It is a place where you can learn about the history of Northeast China. The ticket is not expensive and it is worth a visit.

The Grand Blue Building is the landmark of Zhang's Mansion. It is located near Shengjing Road in Shenyang and was built between 1918 and 1922. It is an imitation Romanesque building. The Grand Blue Building is a classic work of Northeastern architecture during the Republic of China period.

The Daqing Building is a landmark building of Zhang's Shuaifu in Shenyang. It was built from 1918 to 1922 and is a Roman-style building. Because it is built with blue bricks, it is named "Daqing Building". The total building area of Daqing Building is 2460 square meters and the height of the building is 37 meters. It is one of the highest points in Fengtian City (now Shenyang City). The exterior three-dimensional relief of the building is vivid and exquisite, and the painting decoration skills of the main room are unique and have high artistic value. Daqinglou integrates office and residential functions, and was once an important office place in the Northeast period of Zhang Zuoqian and Zhang Xueliang's father and son.
