The Four Pagodas (i.e. Shenyang East Pagoda, West Pagoda, South Pagoda, and North Pagoda) in the early Qing Dynasty were built in the east, west, and west outside Shenyang City by Emperor Taizong Huang Taiji of the Qing Dynasty following the lobbying of the master lama that "building a four-sided white pagoda can unify the country." The four south and north towers were major construction projects in the Shengjing City (Shenyang) in the early Qing Dynasty.
