The Qing Fuling Mausoleum is located in the northeastern suburb of Shenyang, also known as the Eastern Mausoleum. It is the mausoleum of Nurhaci, the founder of the Qing Dynasty, and Empress Xiaocigao, Yehenara. Construction of the Fuling Mausoleum began in 1629 and was completed in 1651. It is backed by Tianzhu Mountain and is surrounded by lush vegetation. Here you can feel the grandeur of the royal mausoleum and enjoy the quiet natural environment. The main gate of Fuling is Zhenghongmen. After entering, there is a brick-paved corridor under your feet. On both sides are neatly arranged stone sculptures of huabiao, camels, horses, lions, tigers, etc. After climbing 108 stone steps (called 108 steps), you can see a large stele building, which houses the "Stele of Divine Merits and Sacred Virtues of Fuling of the Great Qing Dynasty". On it is engraved the inscription written by Emperor Kangxi, which mainly praises the merits of Emperor Taizu of Qing in founding the country. To the north of the stele building is the square city, which is the main building of Fuling. The square city is a rectangular brick wall with horse paths and battlements on the wall. There is a corner tower at each corner of the wall. This square city looks like both a small palace and a small castle. Longen Hall is the main hall of the square city, where the tablets of gods are enshrined and sacrifices are made. There is a burning silk pavilion in front of the hall, and east and west side halls on both sides. There are stone pillar gates, stone five offerings and vaulted gates behind the hall.To the north of the square city is the crescent-shaped Baocheng, in the middle of the front wall of Baocheng is a glazed screen wall. In the middle of Baocheng is the Baoding, which is built with cement. The underground palace below is where Nurhaci, the founder of the Qing Dynasty, and Empress Xiaoci, Yehenara, are buried. As the entire mausoleum is built on the mountain, you will find that the buildings also rise and fall with the slope, which makes it look more patchwork, tall and majestic.
Located in Dongling District of Shenyang, Qing Fuling Tomb is located in Dongling Park in the eastern suburbs of Shenyang. It is the mausoleum of Nurhaci, the founder of the Qing Dynasty. Because it is located in the eastern suburbs of Shenyang, it is also called Shenyang Dongling and is one of the three mausoleums in Shengjing. In the third year of Tiancong's reign, he chose to build a mausoleum in the northeastern suburbs of Shengjing, with a total area of about 194,800 square meters.
The ticket price is 30 per person, and 60 for a tour guide for 4 to 5 people. I personally think it is worth it. The Qing Fuling Mausoleum covers a larger area than the Qing Zhaoling Mausoleum and is built on a mountain. To us outsiders, the basic structure seems to be similar, and it feels it is still worth a visit.

You can't find it here in Dongling, Shenyang. The surrounding area of Dongling Park is more beautiful than the park. Not much gossip, look at the picture. The date is October 20. Dongling's late autumn charm.

20220621 morning: 1. Direct bus access, park ticket 5 yuan, Fuling ticket 30 yuan. It is also very convenient to drive and park. 2. Fuling is behind the big flower bed at the entrance of Dongling Park. Fuling is the mausoleum of Qing Taizu Nuerhachi and his queen. There is a stone lion on both sides of the Fuling gate, which has been guarding the tomb for more than 300 years. The tomb area is visited from south to north, and the "front yard" is first entered. On both sides of the shindao are wide green spaces, green pine cypress and animal stone statues, and the tomb culture introduction card. Then set foot on the 108-story small stone pavilion to the stele pavilion, by Rui beast carrying a tall stone monument, record the great achievements of Nurhachi (man and Han writing, by the emperor Kangxi). The houses on both sides are warehouses for sacrifices and props for honor and guards. Then move forward to the "Fangcheng", the city is surrounded by the city wall, the city wall can be boarded, and the main hall "Longen Temple" is directly forward after entering the city gate. It is dedicated to the rank of Nurhachi. The houses on both sides were originally the dressing room when the emperor sacrificed. It is now used as the "Tomb Show of Emperors in the Qing Dynasty." But the locked door is not open. Behind the main hall is the "two pillar gate" (pure ritual building, open-air stone platform will put tributes at the sacrifice, looking at the door and sacrifice), which is facing the "crescent city" glass wall, Nurhachi's coffin is transported from this glass wall, that is, the entrance to the earth palace is located. Legend has it that the eaves on the glass wall are hidden in the anti-theft tomb. The upper city wall goes around the "Baoding" (the sealing mound above the earth palace) for a week, think about Nurhachi less than 100 meters away from himself, and enjoy the sacred and solemnity. If you ask for an explanation at the entrance of the scenic spot, you can learn more about the small allusions in Fulingli. 3. There are only woods on the west side of Fuling and it is a dead road, and the "paifang" and "disembarkation monument" on the east side (relics, Manchu Chinese bilingual). The whole journey takes about an hour.
