Qing Zhaoling, also known as "Beiling", is located in Beiling Park in the north of Shenyang City. It is the main attraction in the park. The Zhaoling Mausoleum of the Qing Dynasty is the mausoleum of Emperor Taizong Huang Taiji, the second founding monarch of the Qing Dynasty, and Empress Borjigit of Xiaoduanwen. The front part is from the dismounting stele to Zhenghongmen, and the middle part is from Zhenghongmen to Fangcheng. On both sides of the shrine, there are stone beasts and flower tables arranged symmetrically. At the rear are the square city and the treasure city, which are the main body of the mausoleum. Fangcheng is like a city within a city, with a main hall and many auxiliary halls. Long'en Hall is its main building. It has beautifully carved granite steps as its base and glittering yellow glazed tiles as its roof. It is very gorgeous. Behind the Long En Hall is Baoding (a large mound), and underneath is the underground palace, which contains the coffins and burial objects of the tomb owner and his wife, but the underground palace has not been opened so far. The periphery of the mausoleum is the leisure area of Beiling Park. If you don't want to visit Zhaoling, you can just buy the park ticket. On the west side of the park are the Friendship Garden, which symbolizes Sino-Japanese friendship, and the exquisite and exquisite Fangxiu Garden and Rhododendron Garden. On the east side is an open lake, as well as the quiet Qinfang Pavilion and a children's playground. The entire park is densely covered with trees, and is full of greenery in spring and summer. It is suitable for outings to cool off, and you can also row boats in the lake. In winter, it is a beautiful northern snow scene.
