Bringing the kids to the Ultraman base at this hotel is the ultimate in kid-friendly travel.
I discovered an amazing hotel on my recent trip to Shenzhen and Hong Kong! The Grand Hyatt Shenzhen's "Ultraman-themed Grand Suite" completely won over the whole family. The 65㎡ suite features an Ultraman tent, themed bedding, custom toiletries, and more. My child went into overdrive the moment we stepped inside, and even my husband, who usually prefers classic luxury, had to admit, "This 'old money' style hotel really knows what kids love!"
✅ High-altitude Ultraman Secret Base: The room comes with its own Ultraman-themed tent⛺️. My kid dove right in and refused to come out, declaring they were "protecting the Earth."
✅ Details that Thrill: From Balmain toiletries and sterilized towels to a welcome fruit platter🍇, my husband kept saying, "This is what a five-star family room should be!"
🍴 Foodie Family Becomes Instant Fans
👉 32nd-Floor Breakfast Feast: The buffet breakfast at Le Kitchen is simply divine! It offers both Western and Chinese options, including various Cantonese dim sum, Western-style omelets, ham, bacon, juices, and everything in between. I indulged in a ton of juice that was even better than what you'd find at a bubble tea shop!
👉 Private Family Dinner: We booked a private room in advance at the Black Pearl restaurant, Chairman's Mansion · Yue Cuisine. The glazed pigeon and seafood soup rice were an absolute hit with the whole family!
🚀 Hidden Gems for Families
🌉 Shenzhen-Hong Kong Views: The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered a view of Shenzhen's Shun Hing Square to the left and the Hong Kong mountains⛰️ to the right. At night, we played a "find the landmark" game with our child and even spotted the laser show at KK100!
⛺️ Relaxation Station: With an automatic flip-top toilet and smart blackout curtains throughout the room, our child had a blast in the tent, making this a truly effortless trip with a little one!
💡 Thoughtful Service
▪️ The receptionist kindly upgraded our room and offered a late checkout until 4pm!
▪️ They packed us breakfast sandwiches🥪 before we left for Hong Kong!
📌Tips:
✅ The Ultraman room requires advance booking! It's incredibly affordable during the off-season.
✅ The hotel is directly connected to MixC, making shopping super convenient🛍️.
✅ The hotel is close to both the Luohu train station and border crossing.

The observation deck of Diwang Building is located on the 69th floor, offering beautiful views of Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Close-up views are very clear, but distant views are slightly less impressive; you'll need to rent binoculars to see further. Photography is not ideal due to the limited space.
This is an old skyscraper in Shenzhen. The internal facilities are also quite old. There are not many people visiting. The price is relatively favorable. Friends who are interested can come and have a look. The view is still good.
From the top you can see Ping An's tallest building and Kingkey 100, as well as some documentaries. The scenery is great. After watching, you can also go to the Vientiane City opposite and eat barbecue.
🌆 **[The window of Shenzhen and Hong Kong storming] After 00, the cloud jumps and dikes! ** "Help! Here you can see Shenzhen overtime dogs and Hong Kong pigeons at the same time!" 🏙️ Lie on the 300-meter-high glass and count the ants-sized vehicles, suddenly afraid of heights... The result was captured by girlfriends as an emoji (It has been set as a new title for the class group) 📸 **Mad play Sao operation ✅ **Cross-border telescope **:1 yuan coin to see the other side of Asir eating box lunch ✅ **Neon graffiti wall **: Recave the "Shenzhen and Hong Kong Shuangchengji" with the body and was chased by the security to delete the photo 🎨 ✅ **Sunset delay war **: Squat for 3 hours to shoot the real version of "Your Name", send a circle of friends to break 100 likes 🌇 In the elevator, I met the uncle wearing a suit and laughed: "We weren't so crazy" of course! You didn't have this building yet 😎 (PS: Secretly bring milk tea! The observation deck drink is expensive enough to buy another ticket 🥤) #High-altitude rebels #After 00 occupy the skyline #Youth rises faster than the elevator
Diwang Building, once the tallest building in Shenzhen, I went up with my friends to experience the feeling of looking down on Shenzhen. It is a landmark building next to MixC in Luohu District, and you can see it at a glance. The ticket is 80, and you can go up to the 50th floor. It is quite big inside and has a lot of things. There are exhibitions, game consoles, movie theaters, and telescopes. Of course, telescopes cost money, and they are not very clear even if you use them. Go in the evening and you can see the scenery of the day and night. When night falls, the outside world shines, forming a beautiful picture. There is an angle that can directly see the Kingkey 100 opposite, which was later the tallest building, but of course it has been surpassed now. From day to night, looking down on Shenzhen, it feels particularly beautiful.
"Diwang Sightseeing·Window of Shenzhen and Hong Kong" is located on the top 69th floor (384 meters high) of Diwang Building, the tallest iconic golden building in Shenzhen. It was built with huge investment by Hong Kong Shengli Group Co., Ltd. and is the first high-rise theme tourist attraction in Asia. It combines the urban landscape of Shenzhen and Hong Kong with high-tech entertainment, integrating fun and knowledge. It has 15 amusement areas, namely, Century Initiative, Shenzhen and Hong Kong Tour, South View of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Hong Kong Centennial, Shenzhen and Hong Kong Thoroughfare, Unlimited Business Opportunities, Lakes and Mountains, One Night City, Fun Ecology, Central Panorama, Leisure Space, North View of Shenzhen, Pirate Legend, Food Customs and Shopping Paradise.
I have been in Shenzhen for 30 years. I went to the sightseeing floor of the Diwang Building with my friends for the first time to see Shenzhen. It felt much more depressed and there were few tourists, but it was really nice to stand there and enjoy the sunset and the night view of Shenzhen! Ping An Building stood out from the crowd under the setting sun, magnificent and shining! It is worth experiencing!
Diwang Building, formally known as Shun Hing Square, is the most famous skyscraper in China. Because the land occupied by Shun Hing Square was auctioned at the highest price for land transactions in Shenzhen that year, it was honored as the "Land King", so the public called it Diwang Building. The building is 69 stories high and has a total height of 383.95 meters (the actual building height is 324.8 meters). When it was built, it was the tallest building in Asia and the first steel-structured high-rise building in China. On June 9, 1995, the main building of Diwang Building was capped. The themed sightseeing project "Window of Shenzhen and Hong Kong" is located on the top floor of the towering Diwang Building. It is the first high-rise themed sightseeing project in Asia. From here, you can overlook the cityscape of Shenzhen and the cityscape of Hong Kong. Diwang Building Shun Hing Square consists of three parts: commercial buildings, business apartments and shopping centers. It is an important symbol of Shenzhen. As a typical building in Shenzhen, Diwang Building, in conjunction with the surrounding humanities and natural landscapes, has become a unique tourist attraction in Shenzhen. There are sightseeing services on the top floor of the building, which overlook the cityscape.
