Safari Park Shenzhen

The safari zoo is easy to get to from a local metro. We visited on a weekday so the park is not crowded which was good for us. The animals have lots of space to move around considering being in a zoo and they seemed being treated well. The 'tiger safari' is definitely the highlight of the day for us.

I went with my daughter, and overall it was very fun. The scenery was beautiful, but the public areas were dirty and messy. There were many different kinds of animals, and the kids generally had a lot of fun, especially at the bird area where the service was very considerate, and the kids had a blast. The only problem was that my daughter got hungry in the park, so we ordered her some instant noodles, which were too expensive—18 yuan a bowl! The place where we ate was also very dirty and disorganized.

Shenzhen Wildlife Park is a very worthwhile place to visit. There are many kinds of animals in the park. You must try feeding the tigers. It is recommended to enter the park early. Many animals rest and eat in the afternoon. The performances in the circus and the ocean are very exciting. The giant pandas in the park are chubby and very cute.

The animals are free-range and not detained. The service is also very thoughtful. We directly picked up the tour guide map in the gate, and basically visited most of the animals according to the route suggested on the map.
