You can enjoy both autumn leaves and hot springs. It's a tourist spot, but it's not so crowded, so you can enjoy the autumn leaves moistly. After trekking, you can heal your tiredness in the hot springs.
On weekdays, I made a round trip from Ikaho Shrine to the ropeway (observatory). I was alone, but I didn't meet anyone until I arrived at the observatory. All I can hear is the sound of the wind and the sound of birds. Fortunately, there was no sign of wild boar. The road to go was really difficult ... I am keenly aware of the lack of exercise. Still, when you look at the city of Ikaho, which is getting smaller little by little, you will feel a sense of fulfillment. The scenery seen from the observatory cancels the difficulty until then ...
It's a waste to just have a hot spring, so I enjoyed the scenery and the clear air on the ropeway. I trekked further from there to Mt. Mei, but it was quite difficult for amateurs who climbed. When I was checking the map in the parking space next to the roadway on the way, there was a wild boar a little far away! Fortunately, it was good that nothing happened, not an encounter on a narrow mountain road. Maybe I was looking for food to the place where humans were. I learned later, but if I see a wild boar, I have to report it ...
I walked from Ikaho Shrine to Miharu Station on the ropeway! It's about 30 minutes for us who can't say that we have good legs ... Even though we were surprised at the sign saying "I recently got a wild boar", we enjoyed the clear air without encountering a wild boar! I was looking forward to the next time at Miharu Station, and I enjoyed it for less than 5 minutes by ropeway from Miharu Station to the return station! There were places where the railings were broken on the way, but they were well maintained and it was a good walk!
It is a well-maintained park & natural sidewalk. It is recommended to head from the ropeway station to Ikaho Shrine. On the contrary, if you walk, you will continue to climb the long wooden stairs. It is a considerable labor.

Spot policy に is the best!

A natural park reminiscent of the mountains
