Chang'an Park

The park was built in May 1955 and officially opened on August 1, 1958. Because it was located near Jiefang Road at that time, it was named "Jiefang Park". When the city was divided into areas in 1960, it was renamed "Chang'an Park" because it was located in Chang'an District. In 1968, Chang'an District was renamed "Dongfanghong District", and the park was also renamed "Dongfanghong Park". In 1980, the "Dongfanghong District" was restored to the name of "Chang'an District", and the park has also been restored to "Chang'an Park". The northern part of the park is planned to be a cultural area, with "Veteran Activity Hall", "Viewing Greenhouse", "Luquan Small Scenery", etc. In the northwest corner there is the tomb of Wu Zhen, a martyr of the Revolution of 1911 and the general of the Yan-Jin coalition army; It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and along the north side of the lake, there is a "Monument for Dredging of Weiming Lake". The southern part is the green area of flower beds. Various flower beds are of different sizes and shapes. Flowers are in full bloom, green trees are shady, grass and streams, and Yingge and Yan dances. "Qingyinglou" tea house complex, with a total area of 2,210 square meters, is antique and has strong ethnic characteristics. There is a restaurant upstairs, a canteen, and a hot and cold drink department downstairs. plaza and fitness plaza. The whole park is beautiful, fresh and elegant. Rockery and waterfalls rush down, rare trees and strange rocks compete with each other, and every step is a scene, which makes people linger and forget to return. Every year, millions of tourists come here for fitness, entertainment, rest, and sightseeing. In 1999, it was listed as one of the 100 famous gardens in the country. In recent years, more than 20 new scenic spots and scenic spots have been built successively, such as "Bonsai Garden", "Music Sinking Square", "Water Fun Garden", etc., adding the modern garden art style of the park, and the renovated natural stacked stone lakeshore is closer.
