Banteay Srei is located near Phnom Kulen in Northeast Angkor Thom. It is a unique and exquisite building among Angkor's monuments. It is famous for its bright colors and exquisite reliefs. It is known as the “Gem of Angkor Art”. The name Banteay Srei means “women's castle”, which is supposed to have been constructed and carved by women. Its Central Tower and large library contain a large number of statues. Its walls, columns and other architectural surfaces are full of reliefs, complex shapes and soft lines. Unlike the green sandstones used in most of the Angkor monuments, Banteay Srei was built using Khmer-specific red clay, which is extremely colorful and keeps the carvings intact.

The most mysterious monument in Southeast Asia! Through the millennium of old times, reappearing Khmer's smile
If someone broke into the ruins 100 years ago, Angkor's beautiful wreck will not reappear in the depths of the jungle. A generation of dynasties, a statue of Buddha, a sigh of regret, the glory of the past seems to have never dispersed with the wind.
In addition to the rolling ruins, there is also a female palace named Bantisley. It has always been known for its exquisite and translucent, the tower tree shines like a green shadow, like a pearl of a monument, sleeping in the sunset, like a dream.
Tips: As the Palace of Women faces the West, it should be visited in the evening, while the Bayu Temple faces the East and is better in the morning. The best time to visit the Tabor Monastery is at 12 noon, and the sun will be enveloped in the arms.
