The empty Banglu Forest is a very primitive natural area, but also a very worthy of appreciation of the park scenery, the forest coverage here is very high, are the trees of decades and hundreds of years, the development in the forest is not much, basically retaining the original style

An hour's tuk-tuk ride from SR and you can find the empty Bangru. Apparently there are not many people here and it is more famous than another floating village closer to SR. The view is beautiful, you pay $20 to board a big boat upon arrival (we didn’t choose to add $5 to the little mangroves). We sailed alone through the floating village and then to the open waters of Tonle Sap. The experience itself was amazing because you couldn't see the other side (the largest lake in Southeast Asia). Next we went to land and donated books and pencils to local schools (when on the lake we spent $5 on these things from a mobile vendor). Then we went down the road and found a small English school (as a teacher, I think that was another highlight of my trip) where a few kids were doing their homework and it was nice to see them. We highly recommend you to come to this place, which is a pleasant way to spend our mornings.

To the empty Banglu Marsh Forest, you will generally take a boat. The main ones are to visit their water buildings. They are still distinctive. The whole place scenery is also not bad. In addition to going to Angkor Wat, it is worth coming here.

It was quite an eye-opener looking at their way of living. Houses perched on stilts as high as nine meters. Some live in just a boat; cook, eat, sleep, everything done in the boat they call home.

The houses on the flood plain is so beautiful. every house has it's own character. I hope global warming is not hard on them as the flood water rises throughout the years

Kungbanglu Marsh Forest is a part of Donglisa Lake. We take a boat to the rest place in the lake. There is a simple pontoon wharf and a restaurant for everyone to rest. Here we change our hands and row boats. Two people in one boat are comfortable to lie down. An aunt rows a boat to take us to swim in the water forest. For the first time, we see such a beautiful scenery in the lake. Growing dense trees, the boat walks among them, experiencing the tranquility and comfort, and also admiring the wonder of nature. The boat rows across the lake with sparkling waves, lush trees, and sometimes there are boats for sale shuttling back and forth. The scenery is very beautiful and unforgettable. The cost of the boat is $5 per person, but I think it's very worthwhile to experience it.
