Tomanon Temple is a small and exquisite Hindu temple in the ancient ruins of Angkor, dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu, and was built in the same period as Angkor Temple. It is located not far from the east side of Shengli Gate in Tongwang City, and it stands symmetrically with the Zhousa Temple, and the architectural form is the same. The color of the sandstone of the temple is very dazzling after the baptism of the years, especially in the rainy season. The Tomanon Temple hidden deep in the jungle, the surrounding city walls have disappeared, and now only the East Pagoda Gate, the worship hall, the central hall, and the West Pagoda Gate are lined up, and there is a Buddhist scriptures pavilion in the southeast. Tomanon Temple is small and exquisite, and its basic structure is the same as that of Angkor Temple, especially the cross-shaped central hall is like a miniature version of the small Angkor pagoda. Due to extensive restoration, its condition is much better than that of the Temple of Zhou Sa. The carvings in the temple are very fine, with the shadow of the Queen's Palace, which is a place to attract tourists. There are two Devata statues on the left and right next to the window frames on both sides of the main entrance of the central hall, which are well preserved throughout the Angkor area. They are wearing long skirts with slender waists, holding lotus flowers, standing very straight, without dancing, giving people a solemn and gorgeous look, and their faces, headgear and all kinds of jewelry they wear are clear and complete, which is worthy of appreciation. In addition, the lintels and walls of other buildings in the temple are also covered with lifelike carvings, which are simple and unique against the backdrop of tropical plants, very beautiful.
One of the quieter temples on the Angkor small circuit, but still very impressive. Definitely worth checking out since you will likely drive right past it.
Although small in size, the basic structure of the temple is the same as that of Angkor Temple, which is known for its beautiful fairy statues on the walls. The temple is well restored overall.
This is another uninhabited temple. The Tommajo temple is one of two temples and the other is Chau Say Tevoda. It is a small Hindu temple. Fortunately, some of the sculptures are still well preserved. We didn't stay here long and took some photos.
The exquisite Tomanon Temple, small and beautiful, enshrines Shiva and Vishnu. Like the Yu Palace, the Tomanon Temple is a plump Riverta goddess, but the Riverta goddess of the main tower stands upright, without dancing, feeling more solemn and sacred.
The architectural form of Tomanong and Zhousa Temple is exactly the same, the location is symmetrical, and the owner has been stupidly confused. Although small, the basic structure is the same as that of Angkor Temple, which can be regarded as a micromodel. The temple is located in the east gate of Great Angkor City and in the middle of the Tagao Temple (Tea Jiao Temple), and the Zhou Sa Temple is separated by a road of victory. The finely carved Tomah Temple is small and beautiful, and serves Shiva and Vishnu. Like the Queen's Palace, there is also a full-body Lihuata Goddess, but the Lihuata Goddess of the main tower is more straight, there is no dance movement, it feels more solemn, there are many decorations on the body, and there are brown sugar trees on the head. It is an important crop in Angkor area, showing a full chest. The long skirt with a small waist, the lotus in the hand, and the ear ornaments hanging under the long ears, can be said to be very solemn and gorgeous.
Thommanon Temple is located about 70 meters north of Shengli Gate of Tongwang City. In the middle of the east gate of Tongwang City and Chajiao Temple, it is opposite to the temple of Zhou Sa. Its architectural form is exactly the same and its location is relatively symmetrical. However, the road of Shengli was built later, so the two temples were not specially built on either side of the road. The basic structure of the temple is the same as that of Angkor Wat, but its size is much smaller than that of Angkor Wat. In addition, the walls around the temple have disappeared. Generally speaking, the temple is a miniature model of Angkor Wat.
