Siloso Beach at the far end of #sentosa has nice pure white sand, clean water and great view of the sea in #singapore
Best to go on weekdays mornings where crowds are thin and you can almost have the whole beach to yourself with almost no one around. It has a very wide stretch and the farthest end belongs to Shangri-La Sentosa Resort and the other end is where the bungee jump and giant swing is. Sometimes turtles also go there if you are lucky you may catch sight of them.
To get there it is easy, aside from driving, you can take the beach shuttle with numerous stops along different entry points to Siloso beach, or you can take the Sentosa Line cable car or the buses get there as well.
Getting There - By Sentosa Express : Alight at Beach Station and take the Beach Shuttle.
Opening Hours - Mon - Thu: All Day; Fri: Closes 10pm; Weekends & PHs: 8am- 7pm (Beach Booking Required)
Food & Restaurants - Coasted, bikini bar, ola Beach club etc.
Siloso beach is a sunny haven for beach goer. The sands are clean, the area are filled with amenities and plenty of attraction along the beach. We especially love the beach there given that there are plenty of toilet and shower facility along the stretch of beach and if our children need to head for one urgently, it is not too far away.
There are also air-conditioned eating places for a cup of coffee and some snacks if we are too exhausted from the heat. This place is so popular that it draws huge crowd on weekend and holiday. Due to the safe distancing measure during covid period, there is a need pre-book your timeslot to enter the beach.
This beach is a popular choice and is often frequented by families during the weekend. There’s a stretch of bars, restaurants and shops along the beach so you can just head there for lunch or dinner.
Beach enthusiasts usually play a variety of sports too such as volleyball and frisbee. People there are friendly so feel free to ask if you could join them for a game or two.
There are three beaches in Sentosa island, which are Siloso Beach, Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach. Siloso Beach had vibrant atmosphere with lots of restaurants and bars.
We just strolled on this manmade beach resort to breathe its stress-relieving breeze. If you are looking for an eco activity, make time for it on your itinerary!
You can also try your hand at skim-boarding or kayaking, as well as cycling, rollerblading and other exciting beach activities. After dark, Siloso really comes alive, with parties, music, lively bars and restaurants celebrating the beach lifestyle long into the night – every night.
When all is said and done, and when you have finished your excursion to Siloso Beach, make sure you take advantage of the free shuttles that drive along the beachfront roads, rather than walking yourself.
