The Singapore Flyer is located near Marina Bay. From the air-conditioned cabins, you can see the scenic Marina Bay Sands, the towering skyscrapers of downtown Singapore and the green tropical landscape. If time is running short for a holiday in Singapore and can't pack a visit to the Esplanade, Merlion Park, Singapore River, Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the F1 Circuit into one trip, you can still see all of them from atop the Flyer.
The world’s second tallest Ferris wheel is the best to have the beautiful scenery of Singapore. This has 28 capsules each and can accommodate 28 people each. We enjoyed the trip in this flyer. The diameter of the wheel is 150 meter. Ride in this giant wheel is one of the key attractions in Singapore and one should not miss this. The view from the capsule outside is amazing and spectacular. The staff were very cooperative and cordial. It is Well maintained too.
One full round at the Singapore Flyer takes approximately 60 minutes and within that span of time, there is a pre-recorded guide inside the capsule that announces key points during the flight – whether it be regarding locations of interest or general facts about Singapore.
Sunset is by far the most popular time to visit the Singapore Flyer and if you intend to come here to take some beautiful photos, do make an allowance as the queue can get longer at this time. Depending on the time of year you visit, sunset can be any time between 7PM to 7:15PM in the Singapore context. In my friend's case, he queued up at around 6:50PM, boarded by 7PM and was at the peak of the Singapore Flyer at the 30 minute mark – around 7:30PM. For photo taking purposes, do note that your view of the Singapore CBD will be obstructed during the first half of the ride while your primary view will be the Singapore Sports Hub at this time.

Family Christmas outing at the Singapore Flyer! 😊 It was a cool day but rained into the afternoon. Unfortunately, due to the lightning alert from the Met Station, the service was halted. For the safety of everyone. Hence the queue built up. But the staff still handled all the queries with patience. Impressed with their professionalism despite many of them are young. Very well trained. Once the alert was lifted, the queue moved quite swiftly. Happy with the operational arrangements. Overall, an enjoyable outing. Hope to go to the Singapore Flyer for the night view in the near future. ✌🏻

The view is magnificent! Premium drink package allows one to have priority queue. The waiting area is at level 1 in the guest lounge, instead of waiting at the level 2. There is an option to switch your champagne to non alcoholic mocktail, which taste like Singapore sling! Definitely worth the premium price especially during peak season where the queue normally takes up to 1-2 hours.#christmaslights #exploresgtogether
We have been on the Singapore Flyer during the day many times. First time to go on a night ride. view of Singapore at night is amazing.
we reached at around 7pm. need to queue for about an hour to get on the capsule on a weekday during the holiday season. there is no more queue at 8pm.
the ride was about 30min. there was a restriction of 14 person in each capsule for safe measures due to covid.
there is a new time capsule. it is an interactive exhibits about Singapore. we didn't go for it as there was another queue.
overall an enjoyable ride to get to see the beautiful night city views. the lights, singapore river, gardens by the bay, Singapore indoor stadium are all beautiful.
