As Christmas approaches, Snoopy and his Beagle Scouts are embarking on a special mission to Mandai Wildlife Reserve to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Located on the north-western side of the island, the Singapore Zoo is a haven for wondrous wildlife and a must-visit for animal lovers.
This beloved establishment first opened its gates to the public in 1973, and has since become one of the best rainforest zoos in the world.
Besides being home to over 2,800 animals from 300 species—including crocodiles, Malayan tapirs and white tigers—the zoo has won a trove of international and local awards.
These include plaudits from Forbes Traveler as one of the best zoos in the world, the Asian Attraction Awards for Most Popular Attraction in the Wildlife Park category and the STB 22nd Tourism Award for Best Leisure Attraction Experience of the Year. It was ranked as one of the 3 zoos in the world by the Travellers’ Choice Award in 2018.

Not too fast or too slow. A good place for families. Bringing a 3-year-old baby, I didn't feel tired walking all the way. I could play for an afternoon. There are foods that are 30% more expensive than in China. You need to make an appointment in advance. I will go back if I have the chance. Direct bus access. Convenient round trip
Singapore zoo is definitely a family friendly attraction not to be missed when you visit Singapore. The entire zoo is clean and their show is amazing. Teaching kids about sustainability and environmental friendly concepts is something that we felt is great for the kids. Food is good and value for money! Worth to spend an entire day here 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The zoo is not very large in scale, but you can still go and see it with children. There are monkeys that can't name, and white tigers. This is rare and worth seeing. There are also oversized four-legged reptiles, which are too fleshy.
Tickets here are really expensive, and the three zoos a day are tired to the legs! The main weather is still very hot. It is bigger than other zoos. Although there is a small train, it is also very tired to walk. It is more interesting than domestic zoos, but the animals are actually similar, the same is locked up, and the plants are a little bigger.
Singapore Zoo inhabitants through my lensThis is the second selection from my latest photo (and video) hunt during the trip to film a YouTube episode. Hopefully next week I'll be able to get to other areas of the zoo to shoot more. Keep your fingers crossed!
We only played a few projects here, and we didn’t even catch up with the animals. I felt that it was quite troublesome to feed. It seemed that we had to make an appointment online, but the seal show still had to watch. We had to sit in the first row and get wet. Remember to bring clothes and wear sandals. This project is still very unforgettable and there is kfc there. Children's playground, you can slide 🛝, brush the little goat, it is also very fun, we are a park a day, so we are slowly swimming, walking and taking the park train, the small train is still very convenient, we also rented a children's car, but the park is really small, in fact, it is not needed! And in the process, the car didn't know who took it away. It was too speechless. It was the first time I met this kind of thing. Maybe the person was also oolong. I don't remember his car number.
The Singapore Zoo is very good, especially suitable for taking children to visit. There are individual exhibition halls where small animals can be contacted at close range. I try my best to see the timetable on the zoo's official website in advance when there are animal performances. The time is arranged as long as possible, and the zoo is small but some interesting animals can stay and see more.
