The natural quarry is located in Syracuse, Italy. This quarry in the archaeological park is the source of the stones used in the excavation of theaters and houses in ancient Greek times, and was also used as a cemetery. Athens devoted its national strength to form a huge fleet to attack here, and those defeated soldiers became hard labor here. Here, more than 7,000 Athenian prisoners of war were imprisoned until their death. In the past, there were towering stone walls everywhere, but now, the stones here are basically weathered. On one side of the quarry, there is a peculiarly shaped cave, as if it had been carefully carved out. This hole is the famous "Ear of Dionysius". Its opening is wide, but the inside is deep and winding, which is very similar to the structure of the human ear.
