Songjiang Li Tower

Lita is located in Litahui Town, Songjiang District, Shanghai, 33 meters high, four corners of the plane, a total of seven floors, brick and wooden structure pagoda, rumored to be Tang Taizong 14 son Cao Wang Li Ming Ren Suzhou stab history, so the name "Lita". The tower is surrounded by brick statues of different sizes, and the name of the alms is engraved on the four corner stone pillars on the bottom. The tower is a 5A-level attraction.

Litahui Town (now Shihudang Town) on Songjiang Lita, and the Rita, was built without examination. According to the Qing people wrote "Li Ta Yanshou Temple", Li Ta was built in the early Tang Dynasty, because Tang Taizong's 14th son Cao Wang Li Ming, once served as Suzhou Assassination history, so it is called Li Ta. There is another saying that the tower is built by Cao Wang Li Ming, so the name is given. In addition, there is a monument in the tower called "Reconstruction of the Rita", Li Li is the same sound, so he is called. Posterior generations have verified that the style of the tower is close to the Song Pagoda, and there is a tower before the temple, which adds a fog of historical examination to the ancient tower. Six years (1213) in Ningzong Jiading in the Southern Song Dynasty, there were monks who founded Chengxu, and then in the years of Duzong Xianxu (1265~1274), Chengxu was changed to Yanshou Temple.

Before the Lita was repaired, the brick and wooden structure, encountered heavy wind and rain, thunder and electricity, and the wooden structure above fell below. The stone sculptures around the Buddha have been blurred and unclear because of the decay. It is rumored that Li Ta was built by the Li Shimin family of the Tang Dynasty.
