Perugino and Pinturicchio frescoes
The Baglioni family, nobles of Spello, commissioned the frescoes to both artists.]These are breathtakingly beautiful and visible close up. Some resoration work is still being carried out as the church...
Currently under repair inside but honestly I don’t mind paying three Euros per person to help in the restoration. We need to help preserve stuff like this. Incredibly gorgeous inside
This is a wonderful church, but if you are going to Spello to see the Perugino and Pintoricchio artwork inside, be advised that the church is closed for reconstruction until "at least" October 2018.

Stunning, up close
Chapel is so accessible, can walk right up to frescoes for detailed viewing. Able to walk on protected tile floor for exceptional vantage point.

One of the world's great art treasures
Umbria is full of wonderful art but this is a must see. The Pintoricchio frescoes are wonderful in both their execution and the stories they tell.
