Lovely area for a stroll

We chanced upon this area when getting the bus back from the centre to our hotel. Coloured buildings, villas, parks … plenty to see if you go for a stroll along the banks of the island.

Pleasant path to walk

Kungsholmen is an island in Lake Mälaren and part of central Stockholm. The perimeter of the island is 8.9 km. You can walk around it and admire the beautiful views.

Pleasant stroll along the strand

My wife and I walked along the strand as we walked from Gamla Stan to Gro restaurant. It was picturesque walking along the water. It was a pleasant stroll.

It's a nice walk along the water. Makes you understand why many people want to live in this neighbourhood.
