Lovely area for a stroll
We chanced upon this area when getting the bus back from the centre to our hotel. Coloured buildings, villas, parks … plenty to see if you go for a stroll along the banks of the island.
Kungsholmen is an island in Lake Mälaren and part of central Stockholm. The perimeter of the island is 8.9 km. You can walk around it and admire the beautiful views.
My wife and I walked along the strand as we walked from Gamla Stan to Gro restaurant. It was picturesque walking along the water. It was a pleasant stroll.
