Sumilon Island

The island has a beautiful beach and ocean. We could see the gradient of the blue color of the sea.There were so many tropical fishes including nemo and beautiful corals.

Sumilon Island is a small island near Oslob. You can visit here to watch whale sharks. The island is not big. It is a private island of the hotel. Guests can enjoy all the facilities on the island for free. If you are a tourist, you can buy a ticket to enter. The ticket is 2500P per person, including the round-trip boat ticket to Sumilon Island, a lunch buffet, and all the recreational facilities on the island, such as snorkeling, kayaking, public swimming pools, etc. We were the first group to watch the whale sharks in the morning. After taking a shower in the homestay, we took the earliest 8 o'clock boat to play. The return trip was the latest at 5 o'clock. Sumilon Island is its own independent pier. You can take a TUTU car to get there. Buy a ticket at the pier, and there will be a blue logo wristband on your hand. There will also be a welcome drink. Wait quietly for the boat to start. It will take about 15 minutes to arrive by boat. The island is very quiet and comfortable, with few tourists. The beach is also very beautiful. You can lie quietly on the beach chair to bask in the sun, or swim in the sea and snorkel. You must play with the frog boat, which is free to play and has no time limit.

It was the most beautiful sea I have ever seen. I thought it was no wonder that it was called the most beautiful sea in Cebu. You get a lot of sunburn so it's better to wear a rash guard. My calves got really sunburned... The sea is very beautiful, but there are hardly any fish.

Remember to look for the staff wearing orange shirts and take the orange boat to Sumilon Island, 1500 pesos/four people. Each boat runs about 15 minutes, and the last boat on the island returns to the shore at 16:30. You can order meals on the shore before going to Sumilon Island, and the staff will deliver them to you on the island at the designated time. The meals taste ordinary and the prices are high. You can free dive here to your heart's content, but be careful of the many undercurrents here, remember to bring your own mask and snorkel. Be careful! It's easy to get sunburned, and the temperature here is 32 degrees at the end of January. On the island, there is a rest area with a bird's eye view where you can have a picnic and enjoy delicious food. You are allowed to bring your own meals here.
