Suitable for picnics, snorkeling, fishing, we came to the United States this summer to travel. This is a very good location park, between the zoo and George Hyde. Early spring we drove past a signpost in Clifton Gardens from Mosman, so decided to take a walk. It was a lovely big park with bathrooms and playgrounds just above the water. There were a lot of fishermen on the pier, some people swimming in the blocked area, aren't afraid of fishing nets or something? So be careful if you go swimming. It has to be said that these gardens are now built into a standard park with a number of playgrounds and facilities. Surrounded by jungles, they overlook the beautiful bay in the distance, with old military facilities (the current building includes several restaurants) and a large mesh swimming area. If you get there early, there are lots of parking lots. Also parked not far from there is a wide beach, a fishing pier and playground. The harbour coast walkway also passes here, and on the short walk there is a good kiosk and Chowder Bay restaurant. Also, the starting line for the Sydney to Hobart yacht race is on the other side of the road. If you're looking for a picnic spot with a table and rooftop, there are only four. The rest has lots of tables around the ground but no roof, there is plenty of space if you don't mind sitting on the grass. Teppanyaki is also available, but I don't know if there is a charge. Parking is $5 per hour, and if you stay longer than 5 hours, it costs $20 from 8am to 8pm. There is also a playground, basketball court and a cricket venue. It is recommended to bring your family, food and dogs here. Tips: 1. Parking: Get there early, otherwise it will be a headache to find this park. In addition, the parking fee is scary. 5 dollars/hour. 2. Swimming: There are many divers and snorkelers at the pier, with good equipment. 3. Food/Coffee: There is a snack bar on the shore, which tastes good. (2 fish and chips, 3 drinks $64!)
