Huang Bai Yuan

Huang Bai Yuan is located in Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, with a total area of 896 km². The attraction primarily includes the Taibai Mountain National Nature Reserve, Huang Bai Yuan National Aquatic Life Nature Reserve, and the Niuwei River Giant Panda Nature Reserve. In 2013, it was designated as a national 3A-level attraction and currently features the Dajian Gully scenic area and the Huang Bai Yuan primeval forest scenic area. The attraction boasts abundant resources such as forests, minerals, hydropower, and biodiversity, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 96%. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including rare species like giant pandas, golden snub-nosed monkeys, takins, Temminck's tragopans, and lenoks. Huang Bai Yuan is a well-preserved primitive ecological region in the Qinling Mountains, renowned as a "natural oxygen bar" and the "Jiuzhaigou of Qinling". It has been successively honored as a "charming characteristic town of beautiful China", a "national environmentally beautiful township", a "charming primitive ecological attraction of Shaanxi", a "famous tourist town with Shaanxi characteristics", and the "most beautiful village of Baoji". In September 2014, it was recognized as a "national ecological culture village".
