Was surprised to see a synagogue here!
There was a man cleaning this place when I passed by. Posted in front of it are pictures of some men, perhaps past and present rabbis. Briefly looked inside and thanked the man for my brief visit.
I visited it with my wife and daughter. Good place to learn about Georgian Jewish history. It was not a best synagogue I visited ever but if you are around take a half hour to see it.

If you are interesting in Jewish history...
I visited it with my wife and daughter. Good place to learn about Georgian Jewish history. It was not a best synagogue I visited ever but if you are around take a half hour to see it.
Beautiful interiors
The interior of the building is beautiful, only takes about 10 minutes to visit. There is an upstairs sanctuary as well.
Well looked after
The inside of this synagogue is very grand indeed. During our visit, there were a number of worshipers there. Well worth a visit.
It’s a landmark of Jewish culture in Georgia
The great Synagogue of Tbilisi is located on Kote Abkhazi Street in the Old Town. We saw it from outside and building is impressive
