Tianjin Theatre Museum

＂ Tianjin Theatre Museum ＂ is located at No. 257 Dongmenli Street, Nankai District, Tianjin. It is a special museum integrating the collection, storage, research and publicity of drama cultural relics, historical materials. The name of the museum was written by Deng Yingchao, and Cao Yu served as the honorary curator. It opened in 1986. The museum's site is ＂ Tianjin Guangdong Assembly Hall ＂, which was built in Qingguangxu 29 (1903). It is one of the most complete and largest Qing-style halls in China today. The hall is composed of courtyard, worship hall, theater building and other parts, and the main building classical theater is the best in China with large space span, clever design and exquisite decoration. Famous artists Mei Lanfang, Yuan Huisheng, and Red Line Girl have all performed here, and Mr. Sun Yat-sen twice delivered speeches here in 1912, and the Tianjin General Union was also founded here in 1925.
